Working with our school’s youngest members is such a joy. The children love to learn and find magic and wonder in all that they do. As class teacher I am excited to work with my team of staff to create a nurturing environment to support and excite the children to become independent learners and help them develop friendships with other children and adults. I love to invest time building relationships with the children and their families to build trust and friendship to ensure everyone feels like a member of Churchtown Primary school.

I have been working in the early years for over 17 years and I am so excited to be the Room Leader for the new Snowdrops room! I have worked in private nurseries as a practitioner, room leader and deputy manager, as well as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school. I have a real passion for phonics and early reading and listening skills and recognise the importance of these skills in early development. I enjoy working with this age group because they are so curious and show such genuine excitement and enthusiasm in everything they do. I love providing opportunities for children to have fun whilst learning and developing friendships.
