Uniform is worn at Churchtown Primary to develop a sense of pride in being a member of Churchtown Primary School Community. 

Children can wear summer uniform or winter uniform in September but Winter uniform starts officially after half term, please ensure that all white shirts are tucked in.

Winter Uniform:

  • Churchtown Primary School V-neck jumper or cardigan
  • Grey long trousers 
  • Grey skirt or grey pinafore dress 
  • White, plain shirt suitable for school tie (tucked in)
  • School tie

Reception Children:

  • Yellow polo shirt, plain or with school logo (instead of white shirt & tie)
  • Grey long trousers 
  • Grey skirt or grey pinafore dress 
  • Churchtown Primary School V-neck jumper or cardigan
  • Black, flat school shoes (No boots)
  • Waterproof suit for outdoor play
  • Waterproof coat and School bookbag

 

Nursery Children:

  • Navy jogging bottoms
  • Yellow polo t-shirt  
  • Navy sweatshirt
  • Black or navy trainer style shoes suitable for P.E. and outdoor play.
  • Waterproof coat and School bookbag
  • Navy jogging shorts (Summer)

 

PE/ Field Kit

  • Navy tracksuit, (Navy hoodie is optional) white t-shirt or polo shirt and dark coloured trainers (No football kits, or tracksuits with stripes/names or logos other than Churchtown)

 

Hair

  • All shoulder length/long hair must be tied back using a navy, black, white or yellow hair band, scrunchie, bobble or small bow.

 

Jewellery

  • If your child has pierced ears, small studs are permitted. Studs must be removed by the child for PE or will be covered with a plaster during the lessons.  Children may wear watches in school but they should be inexpensive and not ‘gimmicky’ or a 'smart' watch. School is unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage.  No other jewellery must be worn to school.
