Butterflies After School Club
Our wraparound care provision, Butterflies, will provide a safe and engaging environment for the children at Churchtown whose families require wraparound care support. A wide range of activities will be available each day, including: crafts, games and outdoor play. The provision will also provide a chance for children to spend further time with their friends. All staff will be highly qualified, with relevant ratio and suitable staffing requirements adhered to. As the year progresses, we will be looking to develop this service further to bring in wider expertise to the service, for example utilising sports coaches as part of the provision. For all bookings relating to Little Buds and Breakfast Club, please continue to contact the school office to enquire about places.
You will be contacted in relation to your child's place before the school term ends.
Butterflies HOLIDAY Club:
Buttercups nursery children, reception children and years 1 to 6 are welcome to attend Butterflies Holiday Club

The club is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm outside of term time.

The club provides a healthy snack and opportunities for children to take part in a wide range of planned and free play activities, including role play, arts and crafts, cookery, games, outdoor play and lots more.

Please ensure that a packed lunch is provided for your child.
Butterflies Holiday Club costs £25.00 per day (7.30am to 5.30pm). Holiday Club fees are payable IN ADVANCE of your child attending the club. Please note that your child’s place may be cancelled where a payment has not been received in advance. We accept payments via ParentPay or employer’s childcare vouchers from participating schemes

Friday the 18th of October (Inset Day)
October Half Term (Monday the 28th of October to Friday the 1st of November)
Christmas (Monday the 30th of December to Monday the 6th of January 2025)*
* School closure on Wednesday the 1st of January 2025
* School closes for the Christmas break on Friday the 20th of December and reopens on Tuesday the 7th of January 2025
